Question by : How do I get my puppy to stop whining in her carrier?
When I first picked her up from the breeder, I put her in a carrier in the car ride home. She was not happy at all. The whole way home she was whining like crazy and scratching the screen of the carrier. We are flying next month and I don’t know how to get her to like staying in her carrier with it being closed. I’ve been giving her treats inside and she goes inside it now and actually sleeps in it, but she goes nuts when I close it on her. Any suggestions? I have no idea what to do.
hmm i dont know if i really wanna give her a sedative…but ill keep it in mind thanks!

Ask you vet for some sedation for her for when you fly;; her keep her in the carrier as much as possible meantime leave the “gate “open but cover the full carrier with a blanket then after a while try to shut the “gate” and cover again with the blanket ….to get her used to enclosure
