Question by : What would you do with your pet in this situation?
You’re traveling with your pet in the cabin (well, if your pet is small enough). Your plane has just made an emergency landing due to fire being present in the plane, and smoke is filling the cabin. The flight attendants urge everyone to evacuate and leave ALL personal belongings behind. Would you leave your pet behind, because you fear trying to save your pet will only slow you and others from evacuating the burning plane? Or would you take your pet with you at any cost because you would never leave them to die?

Morbid and odd question, I know. But I occasionally bring my dog with me on flights and he flies with me in the cabin in his carrier, and I wonder what would happen if I was in a situation like this, as rare as it is. I’d most likely try my hardest to save him, but then I wonder if the flight attendants would stop me as he would be considered a “personal item”….
