i was just in a car accident today. my cat was in her carrier. however, she got thrown into the front footwell of my car. i was wondering if there is any way to restrain a pet carrier so a pet wont get thrown around if you are in an accident?

you’ll have to check a pet supply store. if nothing else you can tuck the carrier in the seatbelt. there are belts and harness and even little boxes that fit inside the seat belt you can put her in.

OH I’m sorry to hear – hope everyone is ok now. This is very important lesson of why its best to have cats IN a carrier instead of loose in the car. If she was loose, she might have been seriously hurt or dead now!
Anyway try running the back seat belt thru the cat carrier handle and then hooking it on the seat. That should work. My carrier has a special place to run the seat belt thru on the top of it.
Yes, you need to go to a good pet supplies. Hope you and your cat are OK
