Question by Smiley: What should i do for my puppy’s b-day?& what should i get her?
she is a chihauhau,black and white,she likes squeaky toys,loves me,her mom, and my dad,plus she likes my bff,she loves to bark, and she LOVES to go outside.

i think i should either get her a new carrier bag or a toy or a sweater. what do you think?

Check craigslist.com or go to DI. You can use a dog carrier for your cat. That’s what I do. I have a really cute pink one I got for my cat at DI.

Question by jit bag: question about in-flight pet carrier?
if my carrier’s height is off by an inch, what happens? it’s a soft-sided carrier for my cat to travel in, which is pretty flexible. the length and width are fine. an airline agent told me that when you check in with the pet, they do a quick run-through of precautions to make sure everything is safe.

my cat is 11 lbs, and the max is 20, so she has plenty of room, which is important to me because i want her to be comfortable. are they really going to measure the bag? do i need to buy a small one which may make her uncomfortable?
by the by, i did ask the airline, and they quoted me the dimensions. i know it will fit under the seat. the stupid thing is, its the Sherpa brand bag, which is meant for flying.. ridiculous.
umm, any suggestions for additional bags? the medium sherpa is 10.5″ H and i need it to be 9″ H. the smaller one is too small for my chubby kitty cat. .. help???

Riding in the car
• For their safety it is best that cats ride in a carrier when you drive. If you were to get in an accident, without a carrier they would have nothing holding them back and the chances of them getting hurt are much greater.
• For your safety it is better that a cat is in a carrier instead of just free. This way you don’t have to worry about what they are doing. You also don’t have to worry about them getting into places they should be such as under your brake pedal.

Going to the veterinarian office
• You will need a cat travel carrier to transport your cat in when you go to the vet office.
• It is better for your cat’s safety to have a carrier so that they don’t get attacked by another cat or a dog that is at the vet office.
• If you cat is scared of new situations, a travel carrier may help them overcome this fear.

Going to a pet store
• Again you will need a cat carrier bag to take your cat with you in the car. This is for your and their safety.
• Many pet stores require your pet to be on a leash, since most cats don’t walk well on a leash, a soft cat carrier is your next best option. This allows you to still take them places and they can enjoy it because they are not fighting the leash and collar.
