I will be shipping my male B&G macaw from Hawaii to the mid-western united states. I need to buy him an airline approved carrier, probably Kennel Cab. What size should he have?
It needs to be approved for pet transport in cargo since he doesn’t fit under a seat!
I have a 17 lb beagle/pug (puggle) and am looking for a good carrier that will meet airline requirements. Would like for it to be a roller/backpack type. I’m hearing that the Pet Gear brand bags are good but are not good for pets over 10-12 lbs. (even though they advertise up to 25 lbs) If any of you know of a good bag (especially from PETCO) please let me know
When you travel, your pet deserves the best and we’ve found an award-winning revolutionary carrier, the Sleepypod Air.
This carrier redefines in-cabin pet travel by solving the size restriction dilemma. A patent-pending design enables Sleepypod Air to contract in size to fit in the space below a range of airline seats during the restricted times of takeoff and landing; once the plane is in the air, Sleepypod Air can be expanded to allow a pet the largest possible space below an airline seat.
…please note that the Sleepypod Air is In-Cabin Airline Approved!
