special pads for her to pee on, keep her in a small space too so they noe where to pee, then give it more and more space. and some bones because they like to chew and be fancy, so buy accessories too.

Question by cr176761: How much will it cost to take my 5 pound puppy on the plane with me?
I will be taking my puppy with me back and forth from Maine to Florida and was wondering what airline is best to take pets on. Also if you know of a good airline approved carrier, please give me the brand and name. Thanks

Please include the specific airline and prices :)
I know my pooch is not a toy! Why do ppl on here always assume you are stupid and are just using your animals as an accessory??? I am going to be living in FL full time, but on Christmas break I will be going home to Maine. Many people have dogs in FL, I am sure he will be perfectly fine, and the breeder who is a show dog breeder said he will be happy and healthy there, so I think it will be ok. He will not be left outside ever, and will always be kept healthy and comfortable. Seriously I think you are going a little overboard on this one, I have done the research and will be taking good care of my puppy. Thanks for all the answers and concern.

I always had good luck with Continental

I preferred VeriKennel when I showed cats and carried them in cabin.

Hint: Use a puppy piddle pad as a carrier liner and keep several with you to change as needed.
