Question by Bonjour!: Meowme sleepypod pet carrier for a dog, specifically a shih tzu: likes, dislikes?

Answer by Baby Rotty
i had never heard of it but i just looked it up online and it looks really nice in that area, and its kinda pricey. but if you wanted something for your dog to actually SLEEP in i’d get that. but if your dog was awake that one doesn’t look that good because his entire body goes inside. if your dog was awake most of the time i’d get a puppy purse like most girls do.
Hope This Helps! :D

Question by Bella Riquena: How to stop a puppy from wetting himself when scared or excited?
Everytime my 9 month old Pomeranian gets happy or he gets scared ( when he’s being chastised mainly) He’ll urinate on himself.

Sometimes he’ll get mad at my boyfriend or me and urinate for attention. How do I stop him from doing this without smacking him with a paper ? We walk the dog three times a day(sometimes even more) and at 8pm I put up his water bowl so he can’t have any liquids late at night before he goes to sleep in his carrier.
this is my first dog.
I never said I hit my dog thank you very much.

Can a ferret be in a carrier to mostly sleep?

Question by : Can a ferret be in a carrier to mostly sleep?
I have two ferrets and I am taking them on vacation. I have a clipper 2 pet carrier. I think small. And my ferrets are small too. Less then a foot(not with tail) the cage I have is VERY big and not very travel friendly. So I won’t be able to bring it with me. The ferrets would be out a majority of the time for the fact that they need a bigger cage but I only have the carrier that is travel(even for a hotel) friendly. I can set the carrier up like a cage with food water hammock litter box etc too. So it’s pretty good. I also have a super pet carrier too. Although I can’t put a hammock in their I can pretty much set it up like a cage too. Remember they would be out a lot more. The carriers would be for sleeping and when I can’t supervise them. If it isn’t a great idea, I could try and do something else. But I don’t know. Maybe I can borrow my friends dog crate? Thx for your help!

I think that should be fine. I used to have 2 ferrets, and they should be fine as long as you take them out a lot to play so they don’t get bored.

Question by anonomus: How do I get my 8week old puppy to not cry @ night?
she keeps us up all night. I try not to pay attention to her, but end up going to her. I have let her sleep in a crate 3 nights, two nights in my room, one in our washroom down stairs. and than last night in a caged area (with a new little carrier and her toys and towels, and water and food.) and last night was the worst! The first night she woke up 8 times, which is understandable. the second night twice, but last night she slept from 8-12, and i went to bed at 11:30, then I was up with her from 1-3 and she woke up like always at 5… I have had her 4 nights but before we got her we had no power so we couldn’t sleep do to heat, so my whole family hasn’t slept for like a week. How do I get my sleep back and make my puppy not cry when I’m away? Even when she was in my room she’ld cry…. She has a little stuffed animal dog, and we have a big dog too, but she sleeps in my parents room, and i don’t want the puppy sleeping there. PLEASE HELP!!
I have ended up letting her sleep the rest of the night in my bed, but I herd it was a bad habbit so I haven’t done it since. I give her like a shirt of mine, but it doesn’t seem to help. My dad was tired or hearing her cry (even though I was the one up all night calming her down), so he made me put her downstairs (which I think made it worse.) thanks for everyones help! :D And I’ll try the clock and hot water thing! :D
also at first her crate was by me and I tried the sheet, but felt bad for her cause she seemed more scared!
also the dog that sleeps in my parents room is my big adult dog that I rescued. She is 6, and was 18months when rescued so never had to go through all this

Give her some time…when I brought my puppy home he did the same thing (I think it’s because they are away from the parents and other littermates). After a week she should stop.
