also some countries will quartiine all animals sometime up to 6 months

I was wondering if i can buy something to put my guinea pig in when we’re traveling or when i bring him somewhere? I need something like those cat carriers. Do you know something i could get?

You could use a small cat carrier, or one of the carriers for the ‘toy breed’ dogs. I have a guinea pig that’s fairly big, and I’ve carried her in our cat carrier. It worked pretty well- I was even able to attach her water bottle to the metal bars on the front door of the cage.

Question by Val: where can I find a pet carrier like this one?
I have been searching for a pet carrier like this one at the link below but in a different color. I have searched stores and all over the internet. I remember seeing some at a craft show before but I didn’t need one at the time. I love the style of this one. I don’t like the kind of carriers where your pet is enclosed. Any suggestions? Thanks

I am not using this for traveling. It’s only for when I take them to and from the vet/groomers. I am aware that a dog is not an accessory, I don’t need to be lectured on how to care for an animal. I’m just trying to find a carrier.

Unless your dog is disabled and not ambulatory, in any situation your dog would be able to use that sort of carrier, s/he should be walking. Despite small size, a dog is a dog and not an accessory. They have legs and need the exercise. A fully enclosed pet carrier is necessary for car travel or air travel. Whether you like them or not, they are a requirement for airline travel and necessary for safety in a vehicle.

Planes do not allow live creatures. sorry, but you can’t bring your hamster unless you take a car.

the wheel is noisy, but there is nothing you can do about it. all hook on wheels are like that. i suggest you buy the silent spinner to go with it.
